Meet the Owner

I’ve been involved in the construction industry for most of my life. Fresh out of high school, I started my own painting business, Precision Painting, where I specialized in painting new custom homes, both interior and exterior, throughout Colorado.

Later, I expanded my experience into building custom log homes throughout Montgomery County, TX and other communities across Texas. In 2001, I decided to focus on one primary trade with a clear goal: to master it and become the very best in my area.

Since my phone number was already 718-ROOF, roofing seemed like the perfect fit. I chose to make roofing my specialty and dedicate myself to providing homeowners with exceptional workmanship, superior roofing systems, and dependable service.

Today, I take great pride in building roofing systems that are superior to what many of my competitors offer, while still keeping my pricing competitive. Long-standing relationships with trusted suppliers and experienced installation crews allow me to maintain high-quality standards while keeping costs down for my customers.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Saxton Roofing knocked out our roof replacement so fast I'm still a little suspicious about how they did it. We got a Class 4 impact-resistant roof, and they added attic ventilation too, which was a great call. The crew worked at an insane pace, busting their tails on one of about 400 identical hot Texas days. No complaints, no shortcuts. Had a couple minor hiccups along the way but they handled it without any drama. Would I recommend them? Yeah, they're on my short list of businesses I actually vouch for, and that list is short on purpose. We like Saxton so much we're trying to talk owner Steve into moving into the neighborhood. Not kidding. Steve, if you're reading this, the lake's great and we have snacks.

They added onto the house, but I don’t think they ever replaced the roof that whole time. This year it became mandatory to replace it, and Saxon did a marvelous job. They were on time and on budget. They completed the entire job — tear-out, new roof installation, and cleanup — all in one day, which was impressive. Bob managed the project from start to finish and made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. He was very attentive during the color selection process and thorough during the final inspection and walk-around. I called Saxon and got the best quote of the roofing companies I contacted and they were able to start the next day. The crew was excellent and worked hard all day, particularly when all the shingles were off the roof and a sudden thunderstorm came through. They had the roof covered in minutes.
